Word for word from the packet that I found in my kitchen:
Fructus Lycii and Tremella dish was one of the popular nutritious preparation found in the Chinese emperor. The kingdom in different generations received the dishes as a treat of worship. It is suitable for four seasons, due to its moisturizing and high nutritious characteristic, it has beautifying effect and elimination of heat, it believed as a precious preparation prolong quality of life as the emperor.
The Tremella was fresh and carefully select it, went through vacuum dry immediate after wash with mineral water, subsequently air tight packed without preservatives, it maintains its natural white, freshness, chewy, smooth and young, the five important factors there is no age limitation for consumption. Fructus Lycii tonifies the kidneys. It is good for dizziness, vertigo and lumbago due to kidney and liver deficiency.
Does anyonew has any idea what is it? It can be found inside the emperor... Do they have to kill him and disembowel him before we can get it?

Ooh... Lookie, I found my blog on google again as one of the first 10 searches. I am very sure that I left it as private blog on blogger. Dont know how come they log my page and the stuff on it. This is not the first time. That may explain why I get alot of funny mails trying to sell me this and that rubish and all that qucik get rich schemes. Does anyone else have a problem with all that spam mail? The standard one is always about some Nigerian former general or minister or the other wanting me to help him transfer millions of dollars here and there. I will be really suprised if anyone is that stupid to believe them. Grandma always tell me not to trust ppl who bring good deals to me. If it was really so good, why dont they keep it to themselves or share it with their buddies and family?
Okay, enuff crapping, better get back to work and may add some entry later about a packet of food i found at home.

There Are 3 Kinds Of People:
Those Who Make Things Happen,
Those Who Watch Things Happens,
And Those Who Wonder What Happened.
Got a very nice and sweet story here to share with u all...hope u all will
like it...enjoy!
Once upon a time there was an island where all the feelings lived;
Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all the others, including Love.
One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island was going to
sink to the bottom of the ocean. All the feelings prepared their boats to
leave. Love was the only one that stayed. She wanted to preserve the island
paradise until the last possible moment. When the island was almost totally
under, Love decided it was time to leave.
She began looking for someone to ask for help. Just then Richness was
passing by in a grand boat. Love asked Richness, "Can I come with you on
your boat?" Richness answered, "I'm sorry, but there is a lot of silver and
gold on my boat and there would be no room for you anywhere."
Then Love decided to ask Vanity for help who was passing in a beautiful
vessel. Love cried out, "Vanity, help me please." "I can't help you," Vanity
said, "You are all wet and will damage my beautiful boat."
Next Love saw Sadness passing by. Love said, "Sadness, please let me go with
you." Sadness answered, "Love, I'm sorry, but I just need to be alone now."
Then Love saw Happiness. Love cried out, "Happiness, please take me with
you." But Happiness was so overjoyed that he didn't hear Love calling to
him.
Love began to cry. Then she heard a voice say, "Come Love, I will take you
with me." It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she
forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived on land the elder went
on his way. Love realized how much she owed the elder.
Love then found Knowledge and asked, "Who was it that helped me?" "It was
Time," Knowledge answered. "But why did Time help me when no one else
would?" Love asked. Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity
answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love
is."

Went down to "shu chen" the other day to look for one of the books that I need, and I came upon this advertisement on the second floor (Singapore Version of second floor and UK version of first floor). It can be seen directly in front of you if you are coming up by the main escalator at the shop that does the posters. I don think any non Singaporean can get it…
On the poster.
Take your thing.
Can fit here?
Lagi
Cheo.
Yes?
$49
Hmm ha ha ha. I feel so at home. I think this is one of the rare countries where you can take three words from 3 totally different languages and still make sense out of it.
Oh, BTW, for those who actually live in this country and say that you don’t understand it, Please don’t call yourself Singaporean.
Knock Knock......
Just want to ask if there is anyone else here other than me?
Need to justify wasting time blogging.........

Some interesting facts that i read in the papers this morning before i did anything else, i decided to write them down first so that at least i wont forget them so soon.
Computer times : Blogging is one of the BIG things in singapore. How come i am not suprised? It seems that singapore may be so small and that we are such posers and copycats that we are able to make ourselves a significant global presence. Lok at ICQ and blogging. Anyhow whack, more than not, its a singaporean somewhere out there. Seems to me that alot of my US and UK friends have no idea what ICQ is. They all use Yahoo messanger and MSN messanger. Its always the honkies and singpaoreans that have icq.
That brings me to another point.
It seems that we are the internet generation.
When i first went to UK, i was so suprised that there was hardly any internet access there.
the few of us always called it the backward country. When we were using 56K modem here, they were still running on 28.8 modems.
Then now they have rolled out broadband much faster than singapore. They have started late, but their broadband was launched somehwere really in 2002, anything before that was super limited service, but now almost anyone can have broadband for lell than 50 SGD with unlimited access. How come singapore broadband providers such as Pacnet and Singnet still charging such hight rates? It the i am superior mentality and stuff as such that will cause the downfall of singapore one day. They are too complacement once they get an advantage over others and fail to keep up with the times......

Allo, finally back online, but not for long. I hate using anything other than my own computer to do my blog entries, and i HATE my dad's HP. Its an incredibly slow and pathetic machine, considering that it is rather empty and has a PIII 500E chip. I still think there is something wrong with it. Its slower than my laptop, which happens to be a celeron 366. Quite amazing how my Dad actually can put up with this silly machine.
Anyways, not much has happened since the flight back. The flgiht back was a little instersting though, so i shall talk a little about the flight.
Being the magnetic personality that I am (i hear some ppl puking in the background), I never fail to set off the metal dectector gantry. So they decided to search me at Heathrow. Search and still nothing, but i still set the thingie off. They then decided to have a go at my shoe. I was wearing this pair of old Nike ACG hard core boots and it looks quite massive, so they wanted to check the shoe to see if i managed to set some explosive into it. Argh. Osama and his bloody bunch of nitwits making my life miserable. All their fault.
That aside, managed to clear the customs, then went towards the gates. You know how much the ang moh like to circulate the pictures of the "only in" serirs showing stupid signs and conflicting signs in othre countries, such as africa and asia. Well, i took one photo of their own stupidity in their backyard. for gates 1 to 55 (not sure 50 what but its around 50 something) left, for gates 2 to 55(again not sure 50 what but its the same as the other number) trun right. Then where you go? Left or right? Never say properly and they still like to laugh at other countries. Abit the Duh lor. Onlt ppl with gate 1 can make a cleat left. the others wont know to go to which direction already.
Flight back was 100% full. and in the middle of the flight, about 4 hours into the flight, they were calling for doctors coz someone was puking their guts out. Ha ha ha. one full plane, and not a single docotor.... Too bad for the poor guy. Anyways, makes me worried about outbreak being in the same plane as he was. Too much shows about outbreak and stuff like 28 days scaring the crap out of me already.
Okay, too hot for me here. Time to go back to my room and turn on the air con liao. Will take out the links of POS and Grems. POS says that she not going to update and i can take out the link liao, Grems don have internet connection so she cannot update. Argh, the blogging commuinity is shrinking again. Think ppl are getting tired of this fad liao......

Sometimes, there are so many things that you want to share, the joy, the happiness, the sadness and the loneliness, but there is no one to share it with. Not that there is no one there for you, but don’t you sometimes feel as if that it would be pointless talking to them, coz you two are not exactly on the same frequency, and even though they may have a rough idea what you are going through but they will never be able to empathise and to feel your feelings with you.
Is it a result of friends letting you down? It is a result of being lonely? Very likely most of the time, but somehow I don think so. I am sure that those are reasons to feel a little low for anyone at some point or the other. Is it Seasonal Affective Disorder, when you have to arrive in school before the sun is truly up and by the time you leave school, the sun has set? Maybe, that could be the reason why I always liked bright places and colours. Could it be because that your friends are unhappy? I think so too. I am not much of a rational person. I have always been emotional and not that rational and I think I forever will be.
A week back, remember that I posted that things din go too well for a few of us? I think that was one of the triggers. Back then, I wanted to write about feelings. That was because I somehow could be dragged into the prevailing moods of my friends. Be it sad or happy, enthusiasm and despondence whatever feeling was affecting my closer friends, it will affect me too. The thing about it was not that it had anything to do with their lives, its more to do with the way they look at things are happening in their lives and I use the same view on mine. I think, honestly, I am really confused at the moment. I don’t know what I want out of life. Sometimes I do, or should I say most of the time, I know very clearly what I want and how I am going to try to get there, but at other times, the ‘so what’ thingie gets to me. Its like so what if you get what you want? So what if you don get what you want?
Could it really be the stress of never-ending schoolwork? Could it be the strain of working late into the lab? Could it be the fact that I cannot see an end to the mindless struggle to survive? Am I really taking up too much things too soon? Bit off more than I could chew? A total lack of self-discipline? On the verge of a nervous breakdown? I don’t really know. Probably it’s a combination of all the factors above. In the meantime, please put up with me and my moods until I can sort myself out. If not, please just steer yourself clear of the path of destruction.

Suicide? Or Murder? Or Suicide?
At the 1994 annual awards dinner given for
Forensic Science, AAFS president Dr. Don Harper
Mills astounded his audience with the legal
complications of a bizarre death. Here is the story:
On March 23, 1994, the medical examiner viewed the
body of Ronald Opus and concluded that he died
from a shotgun wound to the head. The decedent had
jumped from the top of a ten-story building intending
to commit suicide.
He left a note to that effect indicating his despondency.
As he fell past the ninth floor, his life was interrupted
by a shotgun blast passing through a window, which
killed him instantly. Neither the shooter nor the
decedent was aware that a safety net had been
installed just below at the eighth floor level to protect
some building workers and that Ronald Opus would
not have been able to complete his suicide the way he
had planned.
Ordinarily, Dr. Mills continued, "a person who sets out
to commit suicide and ultimately succeeds, even
though the mechanism might not be what he intended"
is still defined as committing suicide. Mr. Opus was
shot on the way to certain death nine stories below at
street level, but his suicide attempt probably would not
have been successful because of the safety net. This
caused the medical examiner to feel that he had a
homicide on his hands.
The room on the ninth floor from whence the shotgun
blast emanated was occupied by an elderly man and
his wife. They were arguing vigorously, and he was
threatening her with a shotgun. The man was so upset
that when he pulled the trigger he completely missed
his wife and the pellets went through the window
striking Mr. Opus.
When one intends to kill subject A, but kills subject B
in the attempt, one is guilty of the murder of subject B.
When confronted with the murder charge, the old man
and his wife were both adamant. They both said they
thought the shotgun was unloaded. The old man said it
was his long standing habit to threaten his wife with the
unloaded shotgun. He had no intention to murder her.
Therefore the killing of Mr. Opus appeared to be an
accident, that is, the gun had been accidentally loaded.
The continuing investigation turned up a witness who
saw the old couple's son loading the shotgun about six
weeks prior to the fatal accident. It transpired that the
old lady had cut off her son's financial support and the
son, knowing the propensity of his father to use the
shotgun threateningly, loaded the gun with the
expectation that his father would shoot his mother.
The case now becomes one of murder on the part of
the son for the death of Ronald Opus.
Now comes the exquisite twist. Further investigation
revealed that the son was in fact Ronald Opus. He had
become increasingly despondent over both the loss of
his financial support and the failure of his attempt to
engineer his mother's murder. This led him to jump off
the ten-story building on March 23rd, only to be killed
by a shotgun blast passing through the ninth-story
window. The son had actually murdered himself, so
the medical examiner closed the case as a suicide.

Does anyone know the song title and the singer of this song?
Goodbye, no use leading with our chins
This is where our story ends
Never lovers, ever friends
Goodbye, let our hearts call it a day
But before you walk away
I sincerely want to say
I wish you bluebirds in the spring
To give your heart a song to sing
And then a kiss, but more than this
I wish you love
And in July a lemonade
To cool you in some leafy glade
I wish you health
But more than wealth
I wish you love
My breaking heart and I agree
That you and I could never be
So with my best
My very best
I set you free
I wish you shelter from the storm
A cozy fire to keep you warm
But most of all when snowflakes fall
I wish you love
But most of all when snowflakes fall
I wish you love
Wanted actually to write a series on feelings and emotions, choosing a word each day to talk about it. Thought it was a really good idea. Gave up on it after another bu bu today. I should really theme the last few entries STUPIDITY, THE LEGACY!
It seems to be amazing at the rate that I am making all these stupid mistakes. Luckily, nothing went wrong in the lab yesterday and today. Apparently my tutor thought that the results were good enough to get sequenced!!!!! Yeah!!!!! I may actually get some results before I go back home for Christmas. Oh, and that means a lot of hard work. It took me so much overtime for the past week, when most people have not even started on their projects. At least it seems a little motivating at the moment.
Back to the cock up of today. I went to look for a friend and we went to dinner. At first, I wanted to have dinner at kopitiam, but while waiting for her in Macs for so long that I gave up and had Macs for dinner instead. Too hungry, cant help it, coz I tried to act smart and eat salad for lunch. However, in then end, we went for a bit of a walk walk and ended up in China China for pei tan zhok. Went in, ordered and then realised that both of us were not carrying cash! The Chinatown restaurants usually don’t take anything other than cash so I had to run to ATM for cash machine. Went to the HSBC, but the cash machines was inside the bank, and it was closed, so I had to run to Natwest. 2 of 3 natwest machines were out of order so I had to queue for the last one. And by the time I was 3rd from the front, the machine stopped working! Argh. I know, by now some ppl are calling for the letter L already. I know too. Win liao, stupidity and no luck, what could be worse?
Better hide at home tomorrow so that I cannot do anymore of these stupid things!

CooL TeSt
How cool are you?
Take this test and find out!
Okay, if Friday was bad, Saturday reflected my extreme stupidity. I managed to go out to look for a friend that lives one hour away without my HP. I was supposed to call her when I got to the train station and she would come to pick me up. I distinctly remember that I did an equipment check before I left the house. Keys, check, wallet check, travel pass, check, phone, check. Argh. I thought the nice thick and new pack of tissue paper was the phone.
One hour later, I emerged from the train station and only when I took out my ‘phone’ to call her did I realise that it was actually a packet of tissue paper. I really wanted to kick myself. How can anyone be so stupid? Well, there is always me. The worst thing was that I don’t even know how to look for her place coz I don’t know the address. All I knew was roughly where it was, based on some aerial photograph that I had seen a week or two ago. Win liao!
