Okay, backdate to the instalments on the great adventure on Tuesday…..
Woke up at about half four in the morning in a rush to catch the first Piccadilly line to get to Heathrow. Managed a submarine roll from Marks and Spencers as I made my way down the building to the main entrance. It was quite a mild morning, considering that it was still winter. Surprisingly did not feel cold at all. The sky was still dark but not pitch dark, it was one of those deep sky blue thingie kinda colour and the moon was HUGE but very low, nearly set beyond the horizon.
Made my way down the ‘wrong’ side of the hill. Wanted to catch the first Piccadilly line and not the northern line coz I figured that I would not be able to get to the airport in time. Managed to mis-estimate my time, (if there is such an expression) and managed to get to turnpike lane at ten past five. Duh, the train station was still closed and the wind started to blow. Brrrr…. Was so cold. The train was not expected until 5.34 so they decided not to open the gates… Argh, at least they could open it so that we can go in to hide from the wind what!
Anyways, they finally opened the doors about 5.25 and I was already half frozen. Needed to get an extension ticket to Heathrow but the ticket machines were all closed and the ticket office was open but no one was there. Decided to go into the gates first and then top up at Heathrow. Rushed down the stairs and then chickened out and decided that I was worried that I may get fined at Heathrow if they dint believe that the ticket office was closed. It was so early now but then ya, by the time I get to Heathrow it would be about half six and you never know how unreasonable the tube can be. Saw that the indicator has not indicated any train coming and decided to run back up the escalators to see if there was any way I could go get a ticket.
Got back up and there was a little queue of about 4 persons in front of me. Stressed out as usual. Think I need to take de-stressing lessons. Anyways, was really jumpy and some idiot behind me decided that he was going to jump queue and just popped to the front and asked some other guy that was also buying the same ticket from the ticket office to buy it for him. I was so pissed off. Sometimes, there are these idiots in Europe that blatantly will cut your queue. Happened so many times to me in the Supermarket and such, but no one here dares to comment or complain least they get stabbed or shot by the nutcase. It’s a mad world here… Anyways, finally got to my turn and then I managed my extension before I had to run down the escalator again to the platform. The wait seemed like and eternity but apparently I took less than 4 mins to get all those done. The train was still not even in the indicator thingie….
Train came after another min and thank goodness it was going to Heathrow. Wont know what to go if it was going anywhere else. Sure late one if this was not going to the airport….
Okay, enuff for now. Will continue about the pot smoking nut later when I am taking a break. Finally decided that I must start working. Genetics exam in 2 weeks….
Final Destination
We have finally arived.

I know it does not make sense here but well, its does sound kinda funny when its on TV.
The other one is FUBAR from Tango and Cash.
In the prisons, you can be FUBARed.
F****** Up Beyond All Recognition.
Hmm maybe I am really watching too much TV.
Might do me some good if I stopped and actually started on some real homework work.

*tearing hair out of my head*
Greetings from the Land which does not work.
Got up early to make sure I got to school on time and gave myself 1/2 hour allowance such that I can have breakfast in school.
Bloody train decided not to stop at the station and went one more station ahead.
Wasted my waking up early.
Ended up running back from the other station.
I really want to see them bid for the olympics here...
It will SO badly screw up their non functional public transport that is already so overpriced.
The laptop still not working. Looks like my mood will not get better in the near future with such a expensive white elephant and the perpectually failing public transport shit here... Assholes going on strike again tomorrow. Bloody hell. WTF is this country up to? Its in so much shit and yet they still want to go to war? Trying to distract the population from the other shit that dont work here?

Something I came across on the net....

Quote from the site "i just wanted to share this here picture with all my fellow americans. reading is so important, and i love to do it with little kids. "

Ya right, I care not to hurt ppl feelings...
Everyone always complain that I am so blunt and I hurt other ppl's feelings with the things I say...
I think this is positively the worst week. On Thursday, well, some ppl know what pissed me off big time. I am starting to get so tired with everything and I don’t see the point of continuing. It’s so frustrating. I really don’t get the point of it anymore. Din feel this king of general apathy and frustration since the last weeks of 1997 when I was complaining to Fann all the time. Now Fann also change already. Cant really click with him in that way anymore. I guess Army and Uni changes ppl. Sometimes far too much to be able to retain the same frequency.
Friday was a terrible day in the lab as well. Had to put up with so much shitty remarks from the fourth years and they were not exactly any good themselves. They are just so full of themselves. Just because they think that they had 2 more years of education than us, they think that they are really that smart and good. Puke puke. They mucked up all their experiments all the way and still give me the flake when even the tutors said that we produced the best results.
The HOD decided that we were too free and decided to give us another essay and 2 more presentations. What the hell is he thinking. I am beginning to dislike him with his acid remarks and his attitude towards students. He is not the least bit friendly at all. He just likes to intimidate us in all possible ways, speaking in a condescending manner, talking to us like we are third class citizens just because we are not his favourite students. Its so different in the way he treats them and us. Its so unfair. Maybe that’s what gives T and his idiotic cronies that I am better than you attitude just because they did 2 more years and that they are the HOD’s pets and we cant touch them or reach up to their levels. The essays are also so biased against us. Its all suited for T and his cronies coz they are all based on their projects and we have never heard anything of the stuff that we are supposed to write about!
My laptop crashed. Damm Microsoft and their suit uncrashable XP. Its still bloody dead after 7 hours of trying to perform recovery, each time more dead then the other. Whats the bloody point of getting a state of the art comp when it keeps crashing? I am so pissed off. Now the bloody thing has to be sent back to Singapore for repair and I have lost a lot of digital photos that I loaded into that computer. What can get worse?
Saturday was spent helping a friend move back from Colchester. Shitty rent a car gave us problems again. They just have to irritate the shit out of you every time you rent a car from them. I almost believe its their policy to train their staff to give the worst possible attitude and customer service in the world. I really feel like punching in Stellos face when I see that idiotic smile of his. Cant wait to see his empire go bust.
I tried to keep up a smiley face on thursday, and then on friday in school, but i just cant take it anymore! there is a limit to my patientce and it has been crossed big time now!
It’s the positively worst weekend I had in years! I am just so angry with everyone and everything. Life seems so uinfair!!!!

What a totally wasted day. I am sitting here in front of my comp and not doing anything. More like waiting for something to happen. So restless. Supposed to be doing my practical write-up but just cant get started on it. Wasting my time online.
Should I go ahead to play some game? At least that will ease the feelings of hopelessness and the feeling of being so lost in life. That will at least keep me entertained until bed time. At least I wont have so much thoughts tumbling all around my empty head and reverberating giving me such a headache.
Why do I complain and crap online? Was thinking about that and then I remembered something that I said to one of my very old friend a long time ago. He was always found online, day and night, as long as he was not in school. He was quite senior in many forums and was sort of a ‘big shot’ in a lot of the IRC channels too. I used to comment to him that only ppl without a life will be found online all the time. Others like me with a life would be either too busy going out with friends or cramming to finish last minute work. Neve4r imagined that I will end up here online all the time too. Beginning to feel a bit like a loser. Things that I used to look down upon, such as wasting endless hours online, I am guilty of it myself. I feel as if I was some judge that has judged so many ppl placed before him in the past and that now I am committing the same things that I used to judge ppl upon. Cant describe that kind of crapness that I am feeling. It’s a mixture of despair with myself and disappointment with the way I have chosen to lead my life.
Maybe its just coz I have too much time on my hands. I don’t know. Too much free thinking space resulting in these mood swings….
A nice little message out to you all. I know it was sent to me by someone but it does says the things I want to say to you guys out there.....

Condi: You don't want Kofi.
George: No. But now that you mention it, I could use a glass of milk. And then get me the U.N.
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: Not Yassir! The guy at the U.N.
Condi: Kofi?
George: Milk! Will you please make the call?
Condi: And call who?
George: Who is the guy at the U.N?
Condi: Hu is the guy in China.
George: Will you stay out of China?!
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: And stay out of the Middle East! Just get me the guy at the U.N.
Condi: Kofi.
George: All right! With cream and two sugars. Now get on the phone.

Middle East?

Quote of the day from Fraiser....
Ross's old friend : " What happenend to you?!!??"
Ross: " I got OLD!!!!!"
Yups, thats how I feel too when ppl ask me where is my sence of fun and adventure.
Tonight not blogging, Just wanted to share the latest news....
Somewere near my place.
First the Ricin that was found about 15 mins bus ride away from my new place, and now this........
So scary....
Weapons found in mosque raid
A stun gun, blank-firing replica firearm and CS gas canister were among the items seized in a raid on a London mosque, police have revealed.
Seven people were held by anti-terrorist officers after the night operation at the mosque in Finsbury Park, north London.
Scotland Yard said the "intelligence-led" raid was linked to the discovery of the poison ricin in nearby Wood Green earlier this month.
The cleric at the North London Central Mosque, radical preacher Sheikh Abu Hamza, told the BBC there had been "a clear desecration".
He maintained the police had been "unprofessional" in raiding a location that was under constant surveillance.
"Anytime they wanted to visit or search they were welcomed."
The cleric - who was not arrested - dismissed the discovery of weapons at the mosque suggesting they could have belonged to a cleaner of security guard who had been staying in the building.
"This is no terrorist weapon... this has got nothing to do with the mosque."
He also criticised the heavy-handed nature of the 0200 GMT raid, involved helicopters, dozens of police vans and 150 officers - some using battering rams.
Mr Hamza added: "It was very childish, just propaganda."
Click here for a map of the area
Police also said a large quantity of documents - including passports, identity cards and credit cards - were recovered. These have been taken away for examination.
Of the seven men arrested, six were described as North African and aged between 23 and 48, and one as east European and aged 22.
The men, said to be "residing" at the mosque, were arrested under the Terrorism Act 2000 and taken for questioning to a central London police station.
Scotland Yard said intelligence suggested the mosque had been involved in recruiting terrorists, and in supporting terrorism in the UK and abroad.
Officers were primarily looking for documents, computers and people, and no chemical substance had been found in the mosque, it said.
Police insisted the raid was carried out sensitively, and said they had not entered parts of the mosque used for prayer, instead focusing on office and accommodation areas.
They said they had "no quarrel" with ordinary worshippers at the mosque, and had been handing out leaflets suggesting alternative places of worship.
'Determined effort'
But Deputy Assistant Commissioner Andy Trotter said the raid had been highly successful, and he expected it to lead to "more action in the future" as "part of our absolutely determined effort to keep the country safe".
Home Secretary David Blunkett said the operation had his "complete support".
He said in a statement: "We must take firm action to investigate, and if necessary deal with, any potential threat to public safety without fear or favour."
Sheikh Abu Hamza faces exclusion from the mosque because of "inflammatory and highly political" speeches at prayers.
The Charity Commission wants him expelled as an agent of the North London Central Mosque trust, which runs the mosque, because of his "political" preaching.
He has until late on Monday to answer complaints, but has said he would have to be "put in prison" before he stopped preaching.
Another test thingie....

Just came back from dinner at Bugis Street. Had chicken rice and Or Jian there with 2 other friends as his birthday celebration. No, its not the one at Parco, its actually a restaurant at Millennium Corpthone at Gloucester Road. I thought the chicken rice was okay but he failed it. He claims that he is super fussy about chicken rice. I mean the chicken rice was okay, not as great as that of Poh Seng in Serangoon Gardens in Singapore but I think its almost as good as it gets in London. Anyone who wants to prove me wrong, please try. Drop me a note and we can go check out the other place.
The main reason I wanted to blog now is to comment about the weather and the sky tonight. Its not so often that you have such nice weather in a winter night in UK. The sky was blue, dark clear sky blue. Its not the blurry boring pathetic UK sky that everyone complains about. I don’t think I can really describe how clear it was. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I was in a north London hill top and I was surrounded by natural forest reserves, that’s why there is no back ground glow of the cities. May have been blocked by the forest such that I cannot see. A bit of a waste that I din manage to bring my camera with me. I was late to meet them so I left in a rush after brining out my VCDs that he wanted to borrow.
The moon was nearly full and really bright. I think its about the 15th of the Chinese calendar right? It’s the 19th now and the 31st of Jan will be the 29th of the Chinese calendar. Not too sure about all these stuff but the moon was round enough and bright enough. There were some really bright stars too. Not like the little ones that you can see dotting the whole sky in Singapore, but about 5 or 6 within the small road separating the 2 sides of the forrest.. they were bright and clear too. Think no small ones coz the sky was not exactly black and was bluish as a result of the moonlight? Anyone can explain?
The wind was also blowing. I think its less than 10 Celsius but its bearable with one coat and a t-shirt. It’s sharp and crisp but not biting cold like last night when there was gales. It was more of like a strong brisk breeze that was relatively constant, without bursts and lulls. It dint even feel as polluted as normal. Almost like having fresh air out in the country.
Think I am crapping, but I just thought that tonight was a wonderful night and wanted to share the moment.
Ah, just work up at about 9 in the morning and I feel tired already. Wonder what’s wrong with me these few days. Tired but cannot sleep, or else sleep a lot but still tired, can coffee does not help. Maybe my system go kuku already. After a super stressed winter holiday that felt so wasted and was so stressful, I finally have a bit of space to catch my breath, but then the new module has started and its incredible hard to understand the concepts. Maybe it’s the post exam blues. Went shopping mad and went to but lots of cooking stuff. Madness, Now I got one new huge frying wok to go with the old one, 5 frying thingies after the last plastic one broke, one coffee thingie (the plunger in a jar thingie) to make fresh coffee.
Haven’t blogged for the past 2 days. Not that there was nothing that I wanted to say, but it was more like I am too lazy or o forgot what I wanted to say. Its quite amazing that you have about 3 ideas on what you want to blog about during the day and you would have typed it into your plam top and then uploaded into your blog if you can but then by the time you get home, you just lost the motivation to do those things. You start thinking that you want to do this and that and you never get down to blogging properly.
Wanted to put up 2 family albums because of the photos taken in Sg just before I came back. All the aunties and uncles are screaming at me to put them up but I just cant be bothered. I left the laptop at home in SG and thus I don’t have the cookies and all that installed into the comp and I don’t have the FTP software as well.
Spent the whole of yesterday gaming in the day and dint make it to the gym. I have managed to put off going to the gym for one week already. My current excuse is that my chest still hurts from the huge blue black that was inflicted by Josh on Wednesday. Yaya, like that’s going to really affect me when I use the bike or rower.. Hmm, it may affect me in the rower but definitely not the bike. Excuses excuses excuses… Only thing that is happening is that my pot bleey getting bigger and bigger. Argh. Sometimes I hate not habing the determination and will to persevere through things that I made up my mind to do…..Today’s excuse is that I feel tired although I just work up.
Well done right?

School was over the top of my head again today. Met up with my old housemate and went to wong kei for lunch. Kowloon’s ham sui kok has shrunk. The size of the thing still the same but the stuffings inside has gone much less. There is hardly any stuffing inside but I am still quite happy. Cant seem to find ham sui kok in Singapore. Search so many Chinese restaurants that serve tim sum in Sg and none of them that I went to had them. Used to be one of my favourites. Don’t know what has happened. Now they have all the fancy stuff such as deep fried cod skin and stuff like that but no ham sui kok… Argh…..
Went to UCG Shaftsbury Avenue to watch Star Track on the big screen. Wow, west end cinema, they are like THE PLACE to watch movies but erm, again, I am not impressed by the place. It looks so run down. Donk know what wrong with it. I wonder how they make their money. They dont seem to be renovating it at all. Maybe they gave up and is waiting for a big makeover or is going to be taken over soon. Its so unprofessional. I still like Warner Villages. At least they are always nice, bright and clean, not broken down and looking like something from a ghost town.
Anyway Star Track sucks. Its so terrible, its boring and I think its terrible overall. It actually looks like some low budget movie…. Maybe I got too high and expectation after properly done movies such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and James Bond. Wont recommend anyone to see it.
Channel 4 news reported that in their poll of about 20 000 ppl, 84% are against the war and only 16% were pro war. Hiya, why must they go to war? There must be other ways to solve the problem one mah. Stupid Tony….. Even his own Labour party MPs are screaming at him not to go for war. Even in the Archie Magazine, I can clearly remember Archie telling Moose that Violence is the sign of an exhausted mind. Maybe Bush should read some more comics. He could actually LEARN something from there….How I wished that Gore won the last election. The whole world would have been a different place. Prob much more safer and stable….Wait, Gore dint lose! Bush’s brother cheated fro him in Florida!
Sometimes it really makes you wonder why they want to attack Iraq and not North Korea is that Bush is actually scared of North Korea. Maybe he see Iraq like easy picking, can bully. Hiyah, lets all pray that war can be avoided…
TRADE and PEACE!!!!!!! NOT war!!!!!!!!!

After watching James Bond on Monday, with the simply gorgeous and sexy Rosamund Pike (Miranda Frost in the show), especially the last parts where she was kicking Halle Berry butt in the airplane, I was inspired by Rosamund to pick up fencing……. Hee hee… and maybe a nice pretty and smart British gal like her…….
Anyways, went for fencing class today and only after an hour, I am aching all over. It was okay with the other beginners, but when we were allowed to fence, I got so badly hammered by this guy. It was like he was still so far from me, and then there will be a huge thump and I felt like I was hit with a sledgehammer. Dint feel like the foil at all. In about one minute, the match was up with him having scored five hits and me, none… *sob sob*
It still feels sores at the parts where I got hit. Don’t know which idiot told me that fencing doesn’t hurt at all. I am sure there will be blue blacks when I check later or tomorrow. My fingers felt like they were going to drop off and now my thigh still feels as if I had taken it apart. It aches so bad. Must have strained it. Well, anyway, that’s a good excuse for not going to gym today. Felt as if I hit a brick wall.
Exams were over on Monday but somehow it does not feel like exams over, there is still so much stuff to do and I feel as if I had not had the chance for any fun at all. So sad. Argh… I promised myself that if this summer holiday is long, I am not going to work at all! Spent 2 summers working already, its time to treat myself a little, if I am going to have any summer holidays at all this year…….

Just took a colour test. The results are here and see if anyone wants to have a go at it too....
You are aggressive in business, but tend to take the backseat when it comes to your personal life. You are more comfortable talking about work than relationships.
Preferring a more casual appearance, you are more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt than in a suit. You don't like over dressing for any occasion, although you never look scruffy.
You are aggressive in business, but tend to take the backseat when it comes to your personal life. You are more comfortable talking about work than relationships.
In your mind, the image your friends have of you is very important. You like to have the latest brands and are prepared to invest a lot of your money in quality and expensive possessions.
You are very sociable! You are the center of attention and have great stories to tell. But this often prevents from establishing deep relationships.
You are very considerate. Friendship is the world to you, and you are friends with everyone. Be careful, as sometimes this works against you if you are too trusting.
Yups
that sums it all up.
Not too sure how true it is.....
Awwww...
Cant remember which law it is that states that work expands to fill up the time you have for it or somethign like that.
Guess my morning 2 lectures were like that.
It was SO draggy.
He would read one sentance from his powerpoint slide, then pause and then read off another sentence. There was not even enuff info for us to rush and copy down things in order to keep awake. I was sitting in the front row and i am sure that he must have caught me sleeping so many times today. Sorry, cant help it.
Cant decide to go shopping with one golved swint at Kilburn (which i have no idea where that is) or should i go back to sleep.
Room is still in a mess. Meybe should just go home to try to tidy up my place a little.

Today’s events:
Hmm, a lot has happened today, don’t really know how to put it all properly in a blog so I guess I will just have to do them chronologically in the order they happened. Just felt that the blog needs a bit of a proper long entry though this entry wont be as nice and as flowey as what one would expect in a diary, but more like a scheldue…...
Got woken up at 7.30 in the morning by one gloved Swint. She was afraid that I would not be able to get up for my exam, said bye and went back to sleep again.
Alarm clock went off at 8 am. Shut both of them off and went back to sleep again.
8.30, the sun was really coming into the room through the small pathetic excuse of a fire escape. Got up and realised that I was late. The room still dint have any light as the circuits had blown last night and there was no one to fix it until this morning.
Rushed to the bus stop to realise that the bus would not come for another 5 mins. Rushed into Marks and Spencers to grab a sandwich for breakfast. Managed to squeeze into the bus before it went off. Thank goodness. It dint stop on the next stop as it was already to full.
Got to school, sat in the corridor waiting like an idiot for One glove Swint to turn up. Went for exam, guessed correct questions. Could do about 6 out of 8 questions. Good start, at least I seemed to know what was going on.
Exam finished after 3 hours. Could only finish 3 and ¾ out of the required 4. Still quite pleased with myself. At least it was better than only doing ½ of the questions required like last time.
Checked my results, results sucked. Apparently I din get the grades that I expected. The only good news was that I managed to pass my previous test instead of getting a blank fail. Then I found out that the other chap that did not actually hand in his work also got the same result as I did and he actually got one more A. Really unhappy. Felt crappy.
We had lunch in the staff canteen. No one wanted to go out for lunch as everyone was too hungry to move after a 3 hr written exam. Lunch was crap. Sergeant Major for once dint have chips for lunch but had something proper. I had the crap salad, one gloved swint had some shit, yesh some shit, it looked like crap and it must have tasted like crap coz one gloved swint just stopped eating it after the first mouthful. She is not the type that will usually be fussy about food so I guess it must be really crap.
Went to UCL to get the letter of student status to avoid paying council tax. Wasted so much time, followed fabs to paperchase to find his crepe paper, went down to diner for tea/swint’s lunch, but it was closed for annual leave. Ended up in Wong Kei again.
Had dinner at 4 then went on to Trocadero UCG to catch james bond. James bond alone is not so funny, nor is it fun. The ‘north koreans’ were all the HK actors that I recognised from somewhere in my collection of Chinese movies that spoke weird language. Even the Cantonese in the show was really shite.
Came home, still feeling crap. Thinking a lot, wanted to write a lot of stuff in blog but decided that maybe that I will just write them down and send them by e-mail to closer friends… see how lah…
Watching fraiser now. At least its something that can seem to cheer me up for the moment….

Morning all.
Its still super cold here and the snow still has not melted over the night.
The whole ground is still covered in snow. The only thing that is not covered with snow at the moment is the metal fire escape that is linked to the flats. Meybe the heat from the flats get transmitted out to the railings and melt the snow on it.
Anyways, STRESS STRESS
*runs about in a panic*
How to survive monday????

Sunny Day
On the outside, you seem thoughtful, serious and pensive, but most of the time (if not all of the time!) you're dancing on the inside. You're a sweet person with a loyal nature, but there's no way anyone can push you around! ADVICE: You may seem boring and difficult at times, so be sure to let others get to know the lighter side of you that doesn't mind partying!
See Zing!!!
I am not deep!!!!!
Really shallow party boy.....
More tests...

You are WATER! Sympathetic and emotional, you feel your way through most situations, struggling with logic at every turn. Sometimes you let your feelings cloud your judgement, but out of everyone, you're the most supportive and loving.
erm, this one not fair
when they asked which pokemone that I will choose to be my mon to fight, I din know any of them!!!!
All I knoe about pokemon is that there is a pikachu that belongs to this boy, and that there is this little gal that follows this boy wherever he goes, and there is this BF/GF team that is supposed to be the baddies....
Anyway, what a diagnosis...
Water.
Means that I am nua...
Not that far from the truth...
I am very nua nowadays and i drink an AMAZING amount of water, considering that I am very stressed nowadays...

Sometimes people say that you are what you eat, and Roald Dahl also mentioned that many ppl who keep pets uend up looking like their pets after sepnding too much time with them. Apparently this may be a hint that I am having WAY too Much coffee. I am sure that Fabs, Swint and Franny will agree with that statement. Only old Prof Aengus has more coffee than me.......
Anyway, here is a test on what drink I am. I was still hoping that it would be Absinthe....
Oh ya, and by the way, the first thing that i had this morning after brushing my teeth was...
Iced filtered coffee.....
What a way to start a New Year! with the drink that I am.
