Hmm, Friday is a bad day. Nothing went right for the 3 of us. I guess it just have to happen sometime. The only problem is that I don’t know how to deal with it. I don’t know what to do for you as a friend and I don’t know what to say. What should I say, what should I not say? Sometimes it’s a fine line, what can be supportive and what can be intrusive and insulting. I am one of those that perpetually mess that line up and manage to muck up some really good friendship. Meybe this time I should just be supportive, respond accordingly, not taking a proactive step. I should just be there offering the ear, keeping my mouth shut. Argh, I feel so frustrated. Don’t know what to do. Friend that was supposed to call me has still not called me and I don’t know how much longer am I supposed to wait by the phone. Life is a mess and I really need to sort myself out soon.
Final Destination
We have finally arived.

Newsflash!!!!!!
Gwen has updated her blog after a 2 month absence! Please check it out, do not waste her efforts please! She updated it on tuesday and I just found out. hee hee.Okay, I am going for my interview soon, wish me luck.
I hereby open the bidding for the supply of a new brain, preferably fresh and still young, high mitochondria and myelin content desired. Ability to store and retrieve vast amount of useless information is a strong advantage.
I am losing my brain. I was disorientated yesterday, resulting in the lost of one pound twenty pence and today, I missed my train stop again. I was just sitting there waiting for my stop (it was a one stop trip, so no excuse for miscount of stations) and the train stopped, opened its doors, people got on and off, the train closed its doors and started off. “click” It was only AFTER the train started off again that I realised that I had just stoned through my stop. The unfortunate thing was that the two stops that I was supposed to get on and off were close by and I could have easily walked it, but the next stop was really far away. All I could do was to stand there and to wait for the train to arrive at the next stop before I could get off. Duh. Whats happening to me?
Anyway, there is this new Chinese version of the Ketchup song on the radio. Hmm that’s fast, I thought the Ketchup song just came up to number one about a week or two ago. They managed to rip off the music and placed lyrics to it so soon. Shows how dynamic the Chinese song industry is.
Okay, I better go, blabbering nonsense already.

My school is now richer by one poind twenty pence, thanks to me. I managed to get my dates mixed up and forgot to renew my library books yesterday. As I usually renew my books on Tuesday when I go to lab, the general strike made me go to lab on Monday and so I dont know how in the world can I be so confused thinking that today was Tuesday. Argh. I think I need a new brain. Nothing else happening much today. Took a cab to school as usual coz the tubes were not opened, and london transport still owes me my student pass. Argh, London is not really fucntional at all, unless you are super rich!

Oh ya, now that my birthday is over, my wish list can come up liao. Last time I dint want to put it up coz I din want ppl to buy things for my B-Day.
Hiyo Hiyo......
Hee hee
Sorry for going missing for so long. Have been sick since last Wednesday. It however has been a very interesting week. Before I update or as some in Oz claim that its complaining, I would like to say thanks to the following people.
Shyan and Will = For the surprise of turning up at my place and dragging me out to ASK even though I was half dead, for my favourite cake, and for the giant water dispenser.
Sinners = For going with me to Isle of Wight and Portsmouth on what I would consider my birthday trip.
Suks = For the dinner and the card and the dodgy looking teddy.
POS = For the 2 letters and the card and the stuff bout milk supply when I was delirious with a 39 degree fever……
Hongers and stupid goose = For the card and the candle.
Falling = for the SMS, the care and the concern for the past year. (don’t know if you still read here but you are the best!!!!)
Someone out there = I must have fogot you. So sorry. Please don’t blame me!!!!!!! Can I use the excuse that I am still sick and that the fever must have burnt out my brain?
Okay. Over with the thanks, now back to whats been happening. On wed night, after I got back from dinner, or should I day halfway through the dinner, I was feeling a little crap already, Leigh blames it on my ‘hot date’ and erm.. Well, no comments…. ha ha ha. Anyways, came home early and then realised that I was feeling crap. Took lempsip and went to sleep, but was feeling hot and cold at the same time.
Got up on Thursday to go to school, coz it was supposed to be the heaviest day in the week, but decided that I was too sore to make it to school in one piece. Slept the whole day and cancelled my dinner. Tried really hard to do my writeup that was already two weeks overdue. Shuan and Will popped by and dragged me to ASK for dinner and I din know that they had already made a reservation. It was so nice of them, though I was really not mentally there. They even went all the way to SOHO to buy my fav cake up. The night was only spoilt by the fact that I was sick and that the dammed Italian waiter actually asked for a slice of cake when I was cutting it. Duh! Never met anyone as rude as that!!!!
Okay, that takes care of Wednesday and Thursday, nothing much except that I slept like 16 hours a day.
Friday went out to school by cab coz the dammed tube drivers are being bloody lazy again; They are using the firemen strike as an excuse not to drive the trains on the western branch of the notherern line. No way to get to school and I was too sick to walk 2.5 hrs in the middle of winter. Cant remember how I came back home already. Don’t think I did anything on Friday night. Honestly I cant remember.
Sat was better, met my senior and went for lunch, came home stoned on Sunday. Stoned not coz I was drunk or anything like that, but coz I was delirious again. Finally relented and went on antibiotics. Ah…. One day on antibiotics and I felt better and good enough to make it to school on Monday.
Tuesday’s a wonder. London is in anarchy. The firemen are on strike (and I still support them) the bums of the tube drivers still managed to keep 20 underground stations closed (which means that I still cant get to school) and the Teachers are on strike and so are the council workers. Ha ha ha. Nothing is working, but I think these ppl all have a reason to strike, coz its impossible to live in London with their wages. The shit tube drivers are jumping on the strike wagon again and I think Bob Crowe (their leader) should be locked up in an isolation cell for him to wake up his fucking idea (sorry to use this word but there is nothing else to use) and to throw the key away. At least, the underground would work. Talking about the dammed underground, they still haven’t given me my student pass after ripping me off so many times. I have been paying full adult fares for 1/3 of the year and its none of my fault! Bloody hell. I hate London. Nothing works here, except that they will ALWAYS rip you off and hold you to ransom. When I qualify, you can be sure that I wont want to be in London!
Oh, by the way, as a result of the riots in Nigeria, the Miss World pagent is going to be held in Alexander Palace, which is like the third patch of green that surrounds me. Meybe I will go there to take some photos and post them on my photo album.
Going back to work. Think that’s a long entry for me today……

Dear Nigel,
It was love at first sight. Michael’s eyes and mine met across the dinner table at a party and I knew life would never be the same again. But unfortunately that night we never got to say a word to each other as a drunken friend had taken a fancy to him and would not leave him alone. The next morning as all the guests were sleeping, I sat in the kitchen hoping I would get a chance to speak to Michael before I left. As time went by and midday came .I knew I had to leave. I felt a wistful regret I had not grabbed Michael’s attention the night before. But before I got to the front door, Michael came downstairs and he offered me a lift home. The journey there seemed to last a life time- we talked and talked- there was never a minute of silence. When we got to my place, Michael being very shy did not come in, but he asked for my e-mail address. The first night we spoke online after the party was on Xmas day- it was the perfect present. From then on my every spare minute was spent chatting to him online. I was so in love I would just sit in front of the computer screen all night waiting for him to make an appearance.
We took things slowly; it was a nice old-fashioned romance. By the end of the week I had told him things I had not told any one. He asked for my number eventually and after days in agony not leaving the house in fear he would phone when I was not there, he called. He asked me to spend New Years Eve with him. I was excited I ran into my housemate, Sara’s, room to tell her. Sara was very suspicious of Michael however. She did not understand why he was taking things so slow. She began to tell me not to go and how there must be something wrong with him and he could be a serial killer. I was in a state over happiness; at time I did not believe I had really met Michael. So, Sara’s words began to take effect and I began to doubt Michael’s’ motives and feelings for me and I decided not to go on New Years Eve. I made up some excuse of a family gathering. Still, I could not get rid of my feelings for him and I waited eagerly for a call or text message from him on new yrs eve. When none came, I spent the rest of the night in tears in the bathroom. The next morning I got a call from Michael. He apologised over and over again for not calling me the night before. Apparently he had been on the underground during the countdown. We talked for five hours and at the end of it he finally told me the reason why we were taking things so slowly- he was moving to South Africa. He had known for 2 months and was reluctant to start anything knew but he had fallen head over heels in love with me. I thought my heart was going to break. Yet nothing was said on the where are relationship was going. So, he left the next week. For 10 months I did not hear a single word from him.
I trudged through life during those ten months, feeling like I had a constant black cloud over my head. Everything I did would remind me of some conversation I had had with Michael. Finally, my friend, Sara, dragged me out one night to a party in London, telling me I had to ‘get over’ Michael. Sara spent all night trying to distract and amuse me. Finally I gave in and began to enjoy myself a little, I even flirted with the barman! Sara and I were dancing when I accidentally tripped and fell into the person behind me. It was Michael. We were both in such a state of shock we did not say a word for five minutes. As reality hit me, I felt all my old feelings come back. I was just about to lean over and hug him when a girl appeared at his side. I recoiled quickly, as she took his hand and gave him a kiss. What was going on? He looked at me sheepishly and introduced the girl as his wife. They had been married for 8 months. Sara took hold off my arm as I began to faint. When I came round again I was at home again. For the next week I did leave my bed. Some where in my heart I always thought Michael would come back to me and now all my dreams had been shattered.
It turned out that Michael was now working fro the same company as Sara so I would occasionally bump into him. I waited eagerly and at the same time dreaded these meetings. Michael’s wife, Kim, would always hold his arm possessively and eye with distaste. I wondered if she knew who I was, what I had been to be Michael. As November came by Kim had a baby girl. I remembered a conversation I had with Michael once where we discovered that we both wanted to call our first daughters ‘Claire’. His child was called Mary though. Christmas went by and the next year started. Valentines Day loomed ahead. As I walked past the shop windows decorated in pink and red with balloons and hearts and chocolates everywhere, I could not help but cry for what had been and for what could have been mine.
On the 12th of February. Michael called me. It was a short call. He asked me to meet on the 14th for dinner. All he said was that he had always loved me and he wanted us to go out on our first date. When I heard him say the word ‘love’, all reservation I had about his wife and child went out the window. Till half and hour before our date I got continual text messages from him, asking me if I was still coming. He said he had had a bad feeling all day and he was so scared I would back out. I turned up at the restaurant and waited. 7pm came and then 8 and then 9 and then 10pm. I tried his mobile but no one answered. With a heavy heart I went back home. That night I resolved I had to let go of him. For over a year this man had dogged my heart and it brought me nothing but heartache. The next morning the doorbell waked me up. It was Kim. She did not say a word as she handed me an envelope. Before she turned and left she did say one thing thought. Michael was dead. He had been in car crash. And he had this letter in his pocket and it was addressed to me.
Michael was dead. I could not even cry- it was just too much. I sat in bed and opened the letter. It turned out that Kim was the daughter of his manager in South Africa. They spent a lot of time together and she became a very close friend, but nothing more. She had been going out with a local lad secretly and had fallen pregnant. But this lad had abandoned her. She came from a very traditional and religious family She was so scared of what her dad would do when he found out. He would disown her- maybe even kill her. She had asked Micheal to help her. To marry her. He cared so much a bout her, he could not say no. He thought I would have forgotten about him and so there was nothing else out there for him. But seeing me again, and seeing that in my eyes I loved him still, he had decided he could not pretend any longer and he had told Kim the truth. He was going to ask me marry him.
All I could do was cry and cry. Then go to and say good-bye to him.
So, as Christmas is nearly here again, I would like to request a song for Michael and me. I cannot not remember the exact name of the song but its by faith hill and was the theme song for Pearl Harbour. Thank you.
Love
Shiwin

yups!
Have been a failure at phone strike. Ended up picking up a few calls and wasted quite a bit of time. My essay that is one week overdue is still not completed but I will soon be making my way to Portsmouth/Isle of Wight. It was supposed to be a break for me after my mad exam scheldue last week. Just too bad that I cannot totally enjoy myself there as there will be the burdern of work lingering in the background. At least I can be free from my demon of the internet and yeah!!!! No more endless waste of time online, giving myself excuse after excuse and looking at nothing in particular... gazing into the endless emptiness of the net. Okay, have to sleep now. Leaving at 7 in the morning. Bye bye fellow bloggers. Pray that the coastal storm dont ruin my trip!

UK's not going to work anymore....
With such a warning, the country however is still in perpectual mayham.
Lecturers went on strike.
Fire fighters on strike.
Air Traffic Controlers are going on strike.
Underground drivers on strike (whats new)
Army trying to fight fires..
Prats make prank calls for fire coz they want to see the green goddesses.
Meybe its good that I am actually located in the 'countryside' as some put it.
Was watching celebrity fitclub. Its so funny how they make the fat celebrities go through all the runs, workouts and just dunk them there and see how they survive…hiak hiak hiak. Ann Widdercomb is the best and funniest. I reckon that if they wanted to save the conservatives, they just might do it be getting rid of IDS and trade her for Ann. IDS is so uninspiring…. If it was still William Hague in there, at least I would still support the conservatives. Look at them now with IDS he is totally un inspiring. That’s it. There goes the conservatives.
Rick from the pop stars is the worst. He has the worst attitude among all. Hope he gets kicked out. Sick of watching him slack and slag off the others.
Hmm, wonder if I could get in. Meyeb I would be able to loose some weight there.. haik hiak hiak. With the whole nation watching you, its going to be brilliant. That WOULD provide all the motivation to lose weight. Meyby why I hate Rick on the show so much is coz he reminds me of myself? Hmm hmm......

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!
They have installed the Java virtual machine on some of the computers in school. Now can use ICQ already...
So happy.
I love this school!!!!!!!!
And ICQ is not banned, at least not in this campus.....
When I first saw my new timetable, I was so happy, it was like so short...I only seem to have to attend about two days of school per week. Oops, how wrong I am, there is this incredible amount of work to be done and reading to be read. Argh. I thought have the time to slack liao but too bad, got not time even to catch a breath. Alos I think I have bitten more than I can chew... A full time HARDCORE Molecular Biology course, Inv Soc, Fencing, Sing Soc, research proj at Barts, desktop publishing in some far flung charity that takes me 2.5 hours at least to get to....Whoh man.... I think I am going to throw in the towel soon for some of the stuff....
The tutors are on strike on thursday!!! Its so cute, we wont be having classes coz our tutor scared to going against the union rules so he managed to push all the classes here and there, such that we wont miss anything. POS accuse me of complaining that england this england that.. Well what to say? Tube drivers on strike cos they want more pay when they are so grossly overpaid, Firemen going on strike too for more pay, (but they so deserve it as they are worth every penny of it unlike the horrible tube drivers that get 1.5 times the firemen pay and work for so much less) Now Uni lecturers and professors are going on strike....Whats left? Doctors to go on strike? The ambulance crew had a go at that already... And last time they went on strike, heart attack patients had to go to hospital by police cars....
Came home early today, but saw a man lying in the midle of the road as I was running to the bus stop. Apparetly he was hit by a car. So being I dont know how to describe it, kay poh? I decided to stay and help him and waited with him until the ambulance sent him to Whittington. The eneded up at home super late.
Super late, but friend stilled called both my mobile and house phone to talk to me. Talk to them unitl 1 am, then cannot tahan already. Managed to put the phone down, caught a shower but then another friend decided to call. What had happened man? Have I become some helpline? Erm, KT, I vomitting everything i eat how? KT, if i give my sister one lobe of my liver, will my liver regenerate?, KT, is the liver or the kidney the more important organ har? Which one can I survive without for longer?KT, can you come and help me within the next 48 hours for my project? Its super late.... KT, What if a patient was going to die of post partum haemorrhage but refuse transfuson how? KT, how come she behaves like this har? Is there some underyling reason? KT, I got flu how?
Erm.. I dont know!!!!!!!!!! I not some solution number where you call to ask for info. I am not the telephone version of Ask Jeeves, neither am I the NHS direct helpline.....I also don have my crystal ball, so I cannot help you see the future..... No offence to those who asked for help and I have promised to help. This is not directed at anyone. I just need a vent for my pent up emotions.
As everyone is going on strike, I have decided so am I. I shall not answer any phonecalls. All phones will be placed on silence, and not monitored. Please do not blame me if you call and do not recieve a response. This strike will start for one week and last from this Tuesday until the next tuesday. If there is anything urgent, you know my normal working e-mail addy. Send me a mail. I may just reply if i had the time.....

Taken from an e-mail from internet site by a friend where there's a competition for writing the most romantic first line and most unromantic on the second line.
Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet and so are you.
But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead, the sugar bowl's empty & so is your head.
After you, my love, my only prize
Would be a bullet between the eyes.
Of loving beauty you float with grace
If only you could hide your face.
I thought that I could love no other
Until, that is, I met your brother.
Kind, intelligent, loving and hot
This describes everything you're not.
I want to feel your sweet embrace
But don't take that paper bag off your face.
I love your smile, your face, and your eyes
Damn, I'm good at telling lies!
Every time I see your face,
I wish I were in outer space.
I saw your face as you walked by
But then I saw a better guy.
My darling, my lover, my beautiful wife:
Marrying you screwed up my life.
Beauty is on the inside, but some may doubt,
If its true, I'd prefer you inside out.
I see your face when I am dreaming
That's why I always wake up screaming.
My love you take my breath away
What have you stepped in to smell this way?
My feelings for you no words can tell
Except for maybe "go to hell."

Want a Kid?
Cant get married?
Refused at other sperm banks because you are not in a married or heterosexual relationship?
Worried that your child will want to know who his/her biological father is later in life?
Worried that the donor may not be as smart as you desired, such that your child may not live up to your expectations?
Look no further!
Sperm Bank of California
The non profit sperm bank will sell you a "shot" of sperm from their reserves for 200USD....
You can even choose the profile of the donor from the web.
On the BBC programme that I am watiching now, it even claims that most of the donors come form UC Berkley and Stanford (they buy donations for 45USD per donation and its taken 3 times a week.....
Ooh...
Does it mean its the start of a 'eugenics' programme when you can choose the biological parent' of your child to be some smart kid in Berkely or Stanford?
Since they claim that they will send it to anywhere in the world, why would you want to pay 10 000 pounds to some of these cocked up fertility units that gives such incredible mix ups that white couples can give birth to one black and one white baby........
Suks, how bout that! We get you 3 cycles for your birthday?
Everyone nowadays seems to have a amazon wishlist, so i decided to follow the crowd to make one up.Too bad thought, most of the things on my wishlist are not found there. Those that i managed to find, it says limited avability (which bascially means they don have it) and i cant add it onto my wish list. Other games that i used to play and wanted to play with also not available. Whats the point of the thingie if i cannt find the stuff i like.
Anyways, i wont put the wishlist up just yet. Dont want to be asking anyone for anything...
I know some ppl will comment about that, so ya, it excludes ppl from whom i have asked things for...
ha ha ha
Sniff sniff
I think i am falling sick....

Would you admit that you are desperate?
Would you actually accept someone from there, if you are the one that is 'hunting' and not up for offer?
